PROFILE OF DIRECTORATES.

Directorate of Mission

The directorate is the heart beat of the Ministry. Christ Image Assembly is a church with global relevance. To continuously achieve this purpose, the church seeks to set up Centers in places where it can have impact, as God gives direction. The expansion strategy is to set up centres within the state(s), country (ies), or any other part of the world.

Some of the initiatives used to set up a Centre are;

  • Through an existing Centre,
  • Through national missionary effort (which by the way, accounts for up to 90% of church planted till date)
  • By special task or invitation.
  • Growing House Fellowship

Directorate of Missions coordinates the mission and evangelism arm of the ministry along the five functional dimensions of our mission which are:

  • Hospital Evangelism
  • Garage Evangelism
  • Prison Outreach
  • Rural Mission
  • Neighborhood Evangelism.

The directorate is also charged with the responsibility of

  • Organizing periodic program/initiatives that are targeted towards changing lives, achieving church growth and community development.
  • Recruitment of members and other missionaries for short and long term mission work.
  • Working with the Senior Pastor in reaching out to other bodies with like similar vision that can partner or collaborate with the ministry.

The clarion call is on; the 3Gs of the directorate are Going, Groaning and Giving, you should fit yourself into one!

This Directorate is headed by Evangelist ‘Lekan Amusan with Evangelist ‘Segun Oludipe working closely as National Administrator.

Directorate of Home Life

The families are the bedrock of any society.

  • The directorate manages the families within the ministry.
  • Its function comprises of marriage, relationship, singles, welfare of Directorates and Members and other related issues.
  • The ministry boosts of formidable families through the counseling before and after marriage to couple, prayers coordinated by the directorate throughout all our centers for families.
  • It organizes programs and seminars aimed at improving the home life of everyone in the ministry at large.
  • The Home Life Directorate is made up of a team of married, proven people who all have good homes as members.
  • The Home life Directorate is headed by Pastor (Mrs.) Moji Orekoya with Minister Temitope Oludipe as National Administrator.

Directorate of Economic Planning and Finance

It oversees all financial activities of the ministry at large including income and expenses. It comprises of a team of trusted, seasoned financial professionals and economists who have many years of experience. It also acts in advisory capacity on investment opportunities and management of the ministry financial resources in an effective and profitably manner. The vision of the directorate is to maximize the financial resources of the ministry.

The Economic Planning and Finance Directorate is headed by Pastor (Mrs.) Foluke Akinwande with Minister Siji Ayokanmi as National Administrator.

Directorate Research, Strategy and Communication

The directorate is in charge of conducting result oriented research that will bring growth and development within and outside the ministry. Analyzing and providing information and development of strategy that will advance the goals and mission of the ministry.

The Directorate of Research, Strategy and Communication is broadly divided into four (4);

  1. Research – deals directly with data or information received from relevant sources (centres and HQ) which are analysed for the purpose of decision making and progressive development
  2. Media – Provision of media support at programmes within the ministry with relevant and functional equipment such as projectors, sound musical equipment, computers, UPS and amplifiers, mixers, etc.
  3. Communication – Transmission of relevant and timely information for members from the Pastorate & Admin, meetings with all concerned, projection of the church via bulletins (local and National), magazines and brochures and any other publication.
  4. Strategy – Development of policies based on trends in and around, from within and without of CIA, working closely with Directorate of Admin.

The Directorate therefore;

  1. manages the church publications, bulletin, newsletter, tracts
  2. develops, maintains and manages the church website, ensuring adequate projection of the ministry’s corporate image to the general public.
  3. controls the media arm of the ministry.
  4. manages both the internal and external communication of the church.

The Directorate of Research, Strategy and Communication is headed by Minister. Onyema Maduakolam with Minister Komolafe Owolabi working as National Administrator.

Directorate of Children

The directorate oversees the children arm of the ministry. Our vision is to reach children with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ by trained Christians and to disciple them in such a way that they are like Jesus physically, spiritually, mentally and socially. Luke 2:52.

  • It recruits members into the department as well as organize trainings and retreats for members. Constantly promoting ideas that will make children effectively fit into the adult church in later years functioning well in the various units of the church and also grooming them in sound, musical instruments, recognizing them as teachers and leaders of tomorrow.
  • It also organizes a forum where parents and Sunday school teachers interact over the performance of their children and or wards across all our centers.

The first national Children Camp as a ministry was held in 1993 at Sagamu and over one thousand Children were in attendance. Many of the seeds sown at that time have flourished. Other special programmes which the Directorate coordinates include Children rallies, quiz recitation and so on. Members of the ministry had participated severally in the International Children Ministers Conferences organized by Children Evangelism Ministry incorporated.

The work is enormous and recruitment of Children Teachers is ongoing in all our Centers. Applicants must be a disciple of Christ, and should have passion for children and must have minimum of Secondary School Certificate.

The Directorate of Children is headed by Pastor (Mrs.) Tosin Soyinka and Minister Adenike C. Job working as National Administrator.

Directorate of Operation

The directorate coordinates activities of the six operational units of the ministry which are:

  • Prayer Band
  • Teachers’
  • Ushering
  • Choir and
  • Drama

The Directorate acts in supervisory capacity to all Group Heads; it is saddled with the responsibility of

  • Conducting trainings for these units in order for them to be more effective in their ministry.
  • Creating and promoting smooth operational flow of the operation units during service across our centers and at national meetings.

With a vision of providing spiritual covering through prayer, insightful teachings, ushering members and new comers into the presence of God with quality and acceptable worship, life transforming and heart touching drama ministration during our services.

The Operations Directorate is headed by Pastor ‘Dele Ogundele and Minister Adedamola Otuyalo working as National Administrator.

Directorate of Youth

The Youth are the strength of the nation.

The directorate oversees the youth arm of the ministry through the centers youth leaders across the nation. The directorate organizes spiritual, academic, career and entrepreneurship development programs for the youth. It organizes national Youth convention once a year where youths from all our centers come together for spiritual energizing through various sessions of impactful teachings and messages.

The Directorate has as focus;

  • Ensuring that Youths of CIA excel in their chosen field of endeavour by providing guidance and counseling where the need arises and financial assistance where necessary.
  • Advice the church leadership on how to constantly establish, grow and expand on Nigerian campuses, reaching out to youths
  • Coordinating the youth directorates move as an outreach arm, rather than a parallel church. Setting goals towards realizing spiritual and numerical growth.

Apart from the National convention which usually holds once a year, the Directorate also organizes national and local programs for youth in the ministry – retreats, outreaches, ministrations, competitions and so on, in order to bring youth together to interact socially and learn spiritually.

The Youth Directorate is headed by Pastor ‘Sanmi Oluwadamilare and Minister ‘Wale Oshinubi working as National Administrator.

Directorate of Training and Manpower Development

The directorate conducts target specific/tailored trainings for various arms and departments in the ministry. It has the responsibility of bridging the gap between expected result and performance of key individuals and units. It also ensures capacity building in terms of functional areas of church operations and personal lives. It oversees the successful implementation and operation of the priesthood academy across centers. The Directorate periodically reviews and improves on training materials and teaching aids of used for trainings while making use of technology to ensure learning is conducive, clearly understood and very practicable.

The basic concept here is the building, updating and continuous training of the human resources of the ministry.

The Directorate is headed by Pastor Raji Oladipupo and Minister Anu Abayomi working as National Administrator.

Directorate of Administration

It manages all administrative and secretariat function of the ministry, ensuring smooth day to day running of the church office. It works with other directorates to achieve the corporate goal of the ministry.

  • The Directorate of Administration is in-charge of all church properties and assets.
  • Coordinates all personnel of church, ensuring that salaries and other allowances are paid as at when due
  • Provide primary decision making for the daily operation of the church
  • Coordinate church calendar management, coordinates the itinerary of the Senior Pastor and oversees protocol of Pastors and guests.
  • Keeps a comprehensive database of the ministries in an easily retrievable manner

The Directorate also helps collate reports from all Centres and other Directorates, thus ensuring free flow of information between the National Office and the Centres.

The Directorate is headed by Pastor Adebayo Adio Adeitan and Minister Femi Ogunlana working as National Administrator.
